Diablo 2 Overview Diablo 2 Free Download for PC is an action role-playing hack and slash video game developed by Blizzard North and published by Blizzard Entertainment in 2000 for Windows and Mac OS computers. The game, with its dark fantasy and horror themes, was conceptualized and designed by David Brevik and Erich Schaefer, who with Max Schaefer acted as project leads on the game. The producers were Matthew Householder and Bill Roper. Building on the success of its predecessor Diablo (1996), Diablo II was one of the most popular games of 2000.4 Major factors that contributed to Diablo II 's success include its continuation of popular fantasy themes from the previous game and its access to Blizzard's free online play service Battle.net.5 An expansion to Diablo II, Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, was released in 2001.6 A sequel, Diablo III, was announced in 2008, and was released on May 15, 2012. Each act follows a more or less predetermined path, although there is some random-level generation in wilderness areas and dungeons between key cities. The player progresses through the story by completing a series of quests within each act, with optional quests providing additional rewards. In contrast to the first Diablo, whose levels consisted of descending deeper and deeper into a Gothic-themed dungeon and Hell, Diablo II's environments are much more varied. Act I (Rogue Encampment) is a simple palisade fort placed between plains and forests and is similar to the original Diablo. Act II (Lot Gohlein) mimics Canaan desert while Act III (Kurast) is supposedly based on the Maya civilization jungles.

Green-named set items have fixed names and preselected properties like unique items, and belong to specific named sets of 2 to 6 items, as well as possessing additional properties known as set bonuses which are activated by equipping multiple items from the same set. These are themed on individuals eg Civerb's cudgel, shield and amulet each provide individual bonuses which are enhanced if two or more of the items are used to equip a character.
It is unusual to encounter more than one item from a set in a single playthrough of the game, so collectors need to play the game many times to accumulate all items from a set. As to your question, as far as I know, there is no working maphack yet for 1.12. There have been cracks made for the 1.11 maphack to run in 1.12. However you should know that development for a lot of maphacks have stopped because of Blizzard's new anti-cheating tool, the Warden.

It teles him automatically and directly to the next level, and it takes less time than one can turn around and wait for tp.
He was all proud he could type while the damn thing teled for him. I have to say it put me off abit, I spend alot of time building a char up to do things like tele to Baal and survive, and a lame hack turns out to be uncompetable. But oh well, it's rare outside the bots I think, you don't run into it very often. And for all I care such players aren't part of the battlenet community, asmuch as they are just eyesores in the game. Baalbots I could do without too, but again, they just sit there and run the same 3 minutes monotously run again and again, they don't bother me all that much since their influence on the game is limited.
But i'm sure looking forward to Battlenet 2.0 hoping that these things will be gone and have a much harder time coming back.

It’s one of the many forgotten builds in Diablo 2 that used to be extremely effective in the early days. Bowazons are still fun and effective in the game’s current state but with overpowered Runewords being added to the game this build became less popular.
The class is very versatile in terms of items and skills though and you can create your own combination. Thus, it remains a very interesting option.
This type of Sorceress was arguably the most popular class build in Diablo 2. Frozen Orb provided excessive amounts of damage in the early days of the game. However, the skill’s damage was reduced after a patch. As a result, the players started to use Blizzard instead which is still the most effective Cold spell.
However, you can use Frozen Orb as a secondary skill, or to use this as a primary skill in combination with a skill from a different element. This way, you can counter enemies with every kind of immunity.
It was one of the most popular and effective builds in classic Diablo 2. With the release of Lord of Destruction though, more effective builds became viable. The Whirlwind Barbarian doesn’t provide a large amount of damage, but it has a great combination of support damage and survivability. Thus, it can act as a tank and it’s a recommended choice when playing with a party.
The Frenzy Barbarians are popular due to their extremely fast single target damage and the Run Speed bonus. Although this build is very underrated among the community, it proves to be one of the most effective builds in the game.
The Javazon provides a large amount of wide AoE damage, making the build very effective for PvM. Also, the Charged Strike skill deals a massive amount of single target damage. It’s very useful against difficult Bosses. With the proper build, you can even kill Baal in a matter of seconds.
This kind of Necromancer is one of the most special and fun builds in Diablo 2. The ability to summon a huge skeleton army and revive Diablo’s minions to fight at your side makes this build one of a kind.
The Summonmancer is an ideal choice for a party as well, thanks to his curses that allow him to weaken his enemies. The Corpse Explosion is an excellent source of damage too.
The Elemental Druid provides a massive amount of AoE (Area of Effect) damage versus big groups of monsters. The Hurricane in combination with the Tornado spell results in large amounts of elemental damage output.
The Wind Druid can take advantage of Oak Sage summon as well, to boost the entire party health pool.
The Sorceress has always been one of the most popular classes in the game. Over the years spells like Frozen Orb and Nova became less effective. When Lord of Destruction was released, the Chain Lightning Sorceress became a popular build choice. The ability to combine Chain Lightning with a different elemental spell, resulting in a build that is very effective versus every kind of enemy regardless of their resistances.

However, it’s also one of the most expensive builds to create it perfectly, because there are too many Hammerdins in the game.
The Blizzard Sorc is probably the most famous build at the begging of every new ladder. One of the main reasons is her ability to Teleport. It allows her to move around fast, pass through walls, skip boring enemies, and even tricking Mephisto.
