Once you have made those changes, save, and exit the setup (usually by pressing the F10 key).

The diskette drive 0 seek failure error message should no longer be seen when your computer starts up.

Bad hard drive

If you've tried the above recommendations, but problem persists, there may be a problem with the hard disk drive that's preventing it from booting. Unfortunately, this is often an indication that the hard drive has failed and needs to be replaced.
